Blended beaver cloths are fabrics made of polyether and cotton-yarn monofilament thread. It is often referred to as double-layer fabrics.
Beaver cloth is designed in such way that a polyether thread is brought face up and and forms a shiny, «and glossy», surface. This side of a cloth is easily cleaned of dirt, as polyether is not characterized by hygroscopic behavior, but enhances fabric color resistance and durability.
Most cotton threads are brought on the wrong side and provide wear comfort of clothing made of beaver cloth : cotton possessing good hygroscopic capacities is comfortable for a body and absorbs sweat.
