Vostok-Service Group has its own production base - 8 sewing and 4 shoe factories in Russia, Belarus and Italy.

The history of the factory began in the 1930s: in 1930, Rabotnitsa cooperative association was formed in Chaplygin, and in 1938 – Oktiabr industrial cooperative association was formed. In 1957, the two companies merged into a single one – Chaplyginsk Multiple Purpose Clothing Factory.

In 2002, Chaplyginsk Clothing Factory, JSC, became a part of Vostok-Service Textile and Light Industry Association. During that period, various models of overalls, jump suits, headwear, and European quality special wear were launched and put in mass production, with organization of production based on a new principle.

The company is successfully implementing a Technical Upgrade Programme. The production has been reorganized and equipped with modern high-tech equipment. A cut-out preparation shop equipped with automated layout and cutting systems has been commissioned and is operating at full capacity. Investment in the project amounted to more than 20 million rubles.

The use of modern equipment and continuous expansion of production requires active and highly skilled personnel, ready to constantly improve their skills and learn new technologies. Therefore, the company pays special attention to the training of professional craftsmen and technologists.

The factory management and Vostok-Service Group pays a great deal of attention to social policy. The company operates a first-aid post and a dental service, and staff recreation facilities have been created.

Chaplygin Clothing Factory, JSC is one of the five thousand leading companies awarded with the status of Leaders of the Russian Economy. It is listed in the book Labour Glory of Lipetsk Region.
